Ronald Knox Montessori School is seeking a Montessori certified directress to lead a 3-6 year old classroom in a beautiful, sun-filled school just north of Chicago in Wilmette, Illinois. The position would begin immediately, for part-time with potential for full-time.

RKMS is AMS accredited and highly values its strong dedication to Montessori philosophy. The school has programs for children six months to six years of age and has been educating children and their families for over 50 years.

Ronald Knox is seeking a directress who is passionate about Montessori and confident in leading and guiding both children and parents. Our school places a high value on parent communication, so candidates must be comfortable engaging with parents and forming relationships.

Elementary Team Openings - Rogers Park Montessori School

RPMS is a well established, and growing, Montessori school on Chicago’s north side.  We are looking to expand our elementary team and our open positions include:

  • 6-9 Head Teacher/Intern
  • 9-12 Head Teacher/Intern
  • Elementary Resource Assistant

The Elementary Resource Assistant is a part of a team of 4 learning specialists who work to support individual learning needs within the classroom.  Working closely with the other members of the learning specialist team and classroom teachers, this individual helps develop and implement learning plans both for students with identified learning challenges and those needing additional support within the classroom. Among the areas of focus : executive function skills, writing strategies and organization, math concepts and computation. Experience in a Montessori classroom, and working with learning differences, is preferred.

We seek motivated teachers with strong organization and communication skills who value working as a part of a dynamic, creative team.  Candidates for classroom teacher positions must have strong grounding in Montessori philosophy and have, or be working toward, AMS or AMI elementary certification.  BS / BA degree is required.
